 Well, daughter decided to practice vet med in Rockwall TX. So any of you guys that live in the area take your animals to her. LOL! Can ya'll believe the big 45th reunion is approaching? Robert Woodall said that alot of classmates haven't answered the reunion survey that he sent. Come on guys let's all see one another again!! Just remember ...We're like fine wine...not older just better!

E-mail: suelyonfox@hotmail.com 		As some of you might know, I am an ALS patient(Lou Gehrig's disease) . It has been 13 years since my diagnosis. For the past 10 years I have been on a ventilator that breaths for me. I am still the happiest person I know. Because of my tracheotomy, I can not speak. Now the only thing I can move is to blink my eyes. This is how I communicate. My friends and family use an alphabet board and I blink when they get to the letter I want...Quite a slow process.

For as many years as I have had ALS, I have participated in the local Walk to D-Feat ALS. I still attend the Walk in my way cool purple wheel chair that has a portable vent on it. My ALS Walk team is amazing. Last year I had friends and family as team members, 186 Walkers strong. We had around 60 team members from around the world that were registered as "virtual" walkers. The day of the Walk, over 120 Fox Fighter's team members were present in the most splendid show of love and support I have ever experienced. Several friends flew in for the Walk...even some 1964 Hot Spring classmates. This year the Walk to D-Feat ALS is on my birthday, September 20th, here in Kansas City. By chance if any of you are interested in participating, please feel free to e-mail me and my sister Nancy will send you more information about how to become a "virtual" team member and or donate to my fund raising Walk.

A lot of you left messages of condolence at the Funeral Home's website and with everything that needed to be taken care of, I wasn't able to respond to them. I did print the file and when I was really down, I would read through them again. I'm finally getting back to a normal routine...still have moments but with your help it's been much easier. Thanks friends. Dave

I am living in Hot Springs.Still working part time.I have two grandchlidren -granddaughter (married) in nursing school-with one grest-granddaughter that will be two in June.That keeps me busy too.Mike(husband) and I still find time to travel to the beach.Looking forward to the next gettogether.
